Letters, Petitions, Notices Etc. to Corporation (except building plan proposal) are received in this Section of the Central Office located at the Ground Floor of the Annexe Building at 4, M.G. Road, Howrah- 711 101
.
The time schedule is as follows:

1. General letters, Petitions etc
From 11.30 am to 1.30 pm and from 2.00 pm to 4.30 pm on week days and from 11.30 am to 1.00 pm on Saturdays.

2. Letters, Notices pertaining to legal matters (court cases)
 From 11.30 am to 1.30 pm and from 2 pm to 3 pm on Monday to Friday and from 11:30 am to 12:30 pm on  Saturday.

3. In case of sealed envelopes no receipt is given unless the letter is made open.

4. In case of legal notices, etc. receipt copy should have original signature of the sender.
